This
program will give you the tools to choose metrics that best report and explain
financial performance. It will help you focus on picking the appropriate
summary metric such as return on equity, free cash flows, or return on invested
capital and then breaking down that metric into its components such as days
of receivables that closely mirror business decisions.
The course develops an integrative framework that links overall business
value to seven key high level value drivers. It then breaks down those value
drivers into subcomponents for analysis. The program also explains how accounting
choices affect these value drivers and how one can separate the impact of
accounting choices from underlying economics.
