Course Details

This live virtual seminar -- spread over four days -- provides a sound grounding in SEC reporting and compliance for financial professionals at public companies or companies planning an IPO. Each day’s agenda features individual modules (each less than an hour) as well as breaks.

Participants receive practical, hands-on experience preparing annual reports (Form 10-K), quarterly reports (Form 10-Q), current reports (Form 8-K), and proxy statements in compliance with SEC disclosure requirements — even as the regulatory requirements change. Course materials give timely perspectives on current issues on the SEC’s agenda, such as COVID-19 guidance, non-GAAP disclosures, the Disclosure Effectiveness Project, Dodd-Frank initiatives, SEC guidance on the adoption of new account policies, and trends in SEC comments.

Actual SEC filings and case studies are integrated into the course to demonstrate how the regulations are implemented in practice.

This virtual seminar will have 4 parts. The seminar will run from approximately 11:00 am EST to 3:00 pm EST daily.

By attending all 4 training days you will be eligible to earn up to 16 CPE credits. This virtual seminar is an equivalent to our SEC Reporting & Compliance in-person seminar.
